Waiting On Wednesday - Everything, Everything By Nicola Yoon

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking The Spine.

I can't wait to read:
Expected Publication: 1st September 2015

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I'm allergic to the world.I don't leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He's tall, lean and wearing all black--black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can't predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It's almost certainly going to be a disaster.

This book sounds extremely unique and that is what draws me to it. I am really excited for this one and look at the beautiful cover!

Top Ten Tuesday - Top Ten Likes/Dislikes When It Comes To Romance In Books

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish.

This weeks topic is top ten likes/dislikes when it comes to romance in books.
I am a huge fan of a good romance so here I go.

1. Star-crossed lovers - when people or situations keep them apart but they find a way to be together...I am a sucker for these!

2. Love/hate relationship - where they spend years of hating each other, sarcastic comments and banter but deep down there are feelings there and they begin to realise it, swoon!

3. The Bad Boy - I do love a good bad boy who turns to the good side for the girl he loves.

4. Tension - where there is so much chemistry and sparks between the two characters but they don't do anything about it and it slowly develops.

5. The Underdog - I love a story where the geeky guy who is bullied and put down, falls in love, overcomes the bullies and lives happily ever after.

6. Sweetness - I love the sweet, cute moments full of romance that make me say aww out loud.

7. Friendship that turns to love - where two characters are best friends they go through everything together and then one of them finds a girlfriend/boyfriend and the other one realises they are in love with their best friend, these always make me cry!

8. Overcoming something with love - I like when the character has experiences difficulties, can't trust and then love helps mend them.

9. When a couple fall in love after like 2 seconds and we are supposed to believe its real.

10. Unhappy Endings: They break my heart!

Review - Gone Too Far By Natalie D. Richards

Published: 6th January 2015

Piper Woods can't wait for the purgatory of senior year to end. She skirts the fringes of high school like a pro until the morning she finds a notebook with mutilated photographs and a list of student sins. She's sure the book is too gruesome to be true, until pretty, popular Stella dies after a sex-tape goes viral. Everyone's sure it's suicide, but Piper remembers Stella's name from the book and begins to suspect something much worse.

Drowning in secrets she doesn't want to keep, Piper's fears are confirmed when she receives an anonymous text message daring her to make things right. All she needs to do is choose a name, the name of someone who deserves to be punished...

I have never read anything By Natalie D. Richards and picked Gone Too Far up purely because of the blurb, I am so glad I did!
Gone Too Far is a contemporary story full of  mystery and suspense that focuses on bullying and getting justice for the underdog.

A student is dead and Piper Woods feels guilty, she should of said something, done something..but she stayed silent. Now Piper is receiving texts, someone is taking justice into their own hands, they want to get revenge on the students they think deserve it and it seems everyone has something to hide. As Piper gets dragged further into the twisted games she can't find a way out but maybe with the help of a new love, she can claw her way out of the darkness and discover who got her into this mess in the first place!

Piper is a great character, I instantly connected with her, she is likeable, funny and sarcastic and I really like the way she was written. I felt Piper was quite a naive character, she clearly feels guilty over not speaking up but she easily gets herself in the situation, she texts names of the people she wants revenge on to the anonymous texter without thinking of the consequences. Piper takes responsibility for her actions and doesn't hide away from the fact she made the wrong decision and got herself into something far above what she imagined would happen in the end and I think that made me like her character even more, she's brave.

I like the relationship she develops with Nick, they are complete opposites on the outside but as they get to know each other they have more in common than Piper originally thought and their feelings develop into something  sweet and real.

Gone Too Far is full of suspense and mystery and I felt myself throughout the book trying to guess who the anonymous revenge seeker was, I am usually pretty good at figuring it out but I was unable to and was shocked when the identity was eventually revealed. I really enjoyed Natalie D. Richards writing style and I definitely want to read more from her.

Waiting On Wednesday - A Sense Of The Infinite By Hilary T. Smith

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking The Spine.

I can't wait to read:

Expected Publication: May 19th 2015

It's senior year of high school, and Annabeth is ready—ready for everything she and her best friend, Noe, have been planning and dreaming. But there are some things Annabeth isn't prepared for, like the constant presence of Noe's new boyfriend. Like how her relationship with her mom is wearing and fraying. And like the way the secret she's been keeping hidden deep inside her for years has started clawing at her insides, making it hard to eat or even breathe.

But most especially, she isn't prepared to lose Noe.

For years, Noe has anchored Annabeth and set their joint path. Now Noe is drifting in another direction, making new plans and dreams that don't involve Annabeth. Without Noe's constant companionship, Annabeth's world begins to crumble. But as a chain of events pulls Annabeth further and further away from Noe, she finds herself closer and closer to discovering who she's really meant to be—with her best friend or without.

Just look at that cover! It's so beautiful!! I really enjoy books about friendships and this one sounds like its going to be quite intense. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy!
